Annual Conference: A conference is held each year to provide a forum for the exchange of information on existing COG programs, explore potential new programs, and review past accomplishments and innovations.

Development and training of members, both elected and staff, to maximize their innovation, expertise, and leadership in intergovernmental efforts in their communities are also an important part of conference activities.

Other activities include working to improve communication, productivity, performance, and efficiency of COG employees along with enhancing the participation of COG representatives in their organizations.

Business activities at the conference include the elections of new officers, adoption of resolutions, setting of membership dues, and amendment of the By-laws.

Attendance is open to representatives from each member COG and other persons interested in inter-municipal cooperation. Past conferences have been held at various locations across the state such as Seven Springs, Harrisburg, and Gettysburg.
